Revive Church Update

1. Soccer Field Outreach
Sports are a huge deal out here! Having our kids play on a recreational soccer league has been one of the main ways we've met new families. Last Saturday we popped up a tent and handed out gatorade to the players. We also had lawn games available and provided an opportunity for families to connect with our leadership team and learn more about Revive church. We'll be doing the same outreach on a different field this upcoming Saturday. Please pray that we will be able to connect with even more people who are interested in joining Revive Church. 

2. Support Team
We've watched God provide for this church in so many amazing ways. It has been incredible seeing how He has placed on people's hearts to come alongside us and support us through joining us in Mckinney, through prayer and encouragement and also through financial giving. With that being said, we are still looking for people to help support Revive Church. We are asking that you please join us in prayer and consider joining our support team by giving to the mission the He has called us to here in McKinney! 3. What's Next
As our launch approaches we are planning even more opportunities to reach our communities and get the word out that we are planting a church in McKinney! We are really excited to be empowering our launch team to start small groups in their homes. This gives them all an opportunity to become evangelists and shepherds who reach the people who live in their communities. We are also very excited to be starting   Church at the Park! On Sundays we will be gathering at a local park for fellowship, worship, games, donuts and coffee. We're excited to worship with our launch team and create an easy way to invite others into our community! Lastly, we will be hosting monthly vision nights starting in June in order to generate interest in the launch of Revive Church! There are so many things happening for Revive in the upcoming months and we watching with excitement as the Lord continues to lead the way!
 
 

Praise Reports

Before we landed in McKinney, the Lord placed on my heart that our church would minister to the people who live in our neighborhoods. Since having our door to door outreach in March we've had several opportunities to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors. We've been able to bring meals, make care packages and encourage our neighbors who are going through difficult seasons of life. We're praising God for the opportunity to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus to our community! 

Prayer Requests

Starting next Sunday, May 15th we will be having church at the park pictured above! This park is in the heart of Trinity Falls which is one of the largest new communities in Collin County. We're praying that as we gather here, we will reach the people who live in the area and provide a space for them to come hear the Gospel.  We are making a statement that the Church is the People of God and that walls are not required. Please join us in prayer as we bring church to the people of North McKinney!
