Revive Church Update

November was a great month for the church. We had the opportunity to do our first official outreach! This is so important because it speaks to the DNA of Revive Church. We are called to be a church who unashamedly preaches the Word of God and loves our community.

Our outreach consisted of purchasing gift baskets filled with gift cards, cookies, snacks, bibles, devotionals and coffee, and delivering them to local police and fire departments. Our team was made up of four families who share a passion for serving the community here in McKinney. We met at our home for prayer, delivered the baskets to local stations and spent time praying for the officers and firefighters. We also got the opportunity to bless the dispatch workers, who field 911 calls all day, with some snacks and coffee as well. This was just the first of many ways we are planning to bless the people of McKinney.

As I reflect on the Thanksgiving season, I can't help but be thankful for each and every one of you who have joined our support team by committing to pray for us or support us financially. We are so grateful for you! If you have not yet done so, and would like the opportunity to join the team, please let me know! We would love to partner with you as we continue to build Revive Church.

Praise Reports

We have a kid's ministry! At least it appears that way. Many of the families who are joining our launch team have young children. We are so excited to watch as these kids grow in their faith and serve the Lord at Revive!

Prayer Requests

We have been looking for a location to begin meeting for prayer and vision nights and we may have found one. We are having conversations with a local church here in McKinney and we may be able to use their facility midweek! Please join us in prayer for this opportunity as it will provide a space for our community to grow!
