Revive Church Update

In the book of Acts chapter one, we read about Jesus' command for the apostles to "not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father." Soon after, the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and this day marked the beginning of the new Church. In Acts chapter 2, we see that the disciples "continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." We are so excited to share this praise report because we now have the opportunity to invite others to join us in fellowship, breaking of bread (communion), the teaching of the Word of God and prayer together. 

1. Huge Praise Report
One of my favorite things about praying, is watching a "prayer request" become a "praise report," and that's exactly what happened last month. Preston Trail Community Church in McKinney has generously opened their church building for us to use midweek! We now have a space to begin meeting and ministering to our growing community. This facility includes several large meeting rooms as well as multiple children's rooms for us to disciple and care for the kids in our church. We are so grateful to the Lord for once again providing for the needs of Revive Church.

2. Thank you
I want to say thank you for supporting Revive Church financially! One of the greatest blessings from Preston Trail is that they are allowing us to meet at their facility free of charge. This will allow us to allocate even more funds to reaching the community here in McKinney! I also want to thank those of you who committed to praying for Revive Church. I truly believe that the Lord is hearing our prayers and that He is answering them according to His will! Now I ask that you would please once again join us in prayer as we begin gathering our community.

3. Please Pray for Revive
Our prayer is that this meeting would bring glory to God. That the Lord would lead these meetings and that the people who attend would be empowered to be the Church. We pray that people would invite others who would come to know Jesus as they hear the gospel. Lastly, we pray that He would help us identify the people who will become the future leaders of Revive Church. We believe that the Lord has already identified our future worship leader, youth pastor, kids pastor, admin and all of the leaders needed to bless the community here in McKinney. We are asking that the Lord would reveal those people to us as we meet and get to know each other.
 
 

Praise Reports

As I mentioned above, it is always encouraging to move a prayer request to the praise report category. We are blessed to have a partnership with Preston Trail and are excited to begin meeting and growing Revive Church in this facility! 

Prayer Requests

September 2022 is when we are planning to officially launch Revive Church! This launch will include Sunday services with kids ministry, youth ministry, worship, greeting teams, small groups and more. Please pray as we identify leaders and make all of the necessary preparations for our September launch. Please also pray for the community here in McKinney. That the Lord would draw the people here who need to be here.
