Revive Church Update

1. Church at the Park
Revive Church has not yet even officially launched and our community is growing! We've been gathering at a park in Trinity Falls which is one of the new communities here in North McKinney. It's incredible to see what God can do without a building! Since we started meeting at the park, we've identified new leaders to serve on our leadership team, met new families in our community, generated interest in the church and shared Christ with people who are still searching. We're encouraged by the growth and although we will one day be meeting indoors, we are inspired to continue being bold and bringing church into public spaces for years to come!

2. Revive Leadership
Our leadership team at Revive Church continues to grow. We have a group of faithful men and women who are dedicated to our mission, which is to Preach the Gospel and Make Disciples here in McKinney, Texas. This team has been busy hosting bible studies, sharing their faith, serving their neighbors and looking for new ways to bring God glory! We are so grateful for the faithful team that has come around us to help plant this church and we anticipate the Lord will continue to provide even more leaders to serve alongside this mission. We looking forward to what The Lord will continue to do through this incredible group of people we get to do ministry alongside!

3. Church Planting
There is a reason we call a new church a "church plant." As of now, Revive Church is just a small sprout that's coming up out of the soil. We can see God's provision for this plant each and every day. One thing that the Lord has placed on our hearts very early on is that we will be a church that helps plant other churches. Just as every plant reproduces, we believe that it is part of God's plan for the local church to also reproduce. We've met a great community of pastors in McKinney who share in this vision, and we are already looking for ways that we can serve other church planters in the DFW area. I believe that one day we will accomplish our vision to see a generation set apart for God's Kingdom, but it will be accomplished by empowered church planters and not by Revive Church alone.

Praise Reports

Last week our HOA put on a block party for our neighborhood. Some of our leaders came out to serve. We setup games, gave out popsicles and got an opportunity to meet several of our neighbors. I was dunked in the dunk tank and our church was announced to the community by the HOA. The next day, three new families came out to Church at the Park! We're looking forward to cultivating these new relationships and serving our neighbors.

Prayer Requests

Church at the Park has been incredible but as the weather heats up, we're quickly remembering that we're not in San Diego anymore. We have a need to get into an indoor facility so we can continue meeting. The above picture is a potential meeting location which has a capacity of 70 adults and 30 kids. We're praying that God provides the finances for an indoor meeting space and that He reveals to us whether or not this is the right location for Revive Church in this season.
